This work is a response of late Soeharto’s regime concern about the development of physical matters, that is different with today’s regime concerns about mentality. But somehow, this two differences of concerns of the two regime still have the same oppressive purpouse for the masses. So, we make a hoax in the form of the master plan of Soeharto regime that somehow have a very strong correlation with today’s regime.

We did this comparison to show how the differences and the similarity of it are. How the “old” professional film lab worked, and how the new independent and reckless artist-running lab is working

PICK UP MOTORZ (2013)

Pick Up Motorz is a video made a response for situation of transportation in Jakarta. Pick Up Motorz shows how people in jakarta use their motorcycle exploitatively. People in Jakarta is exploit the uses and the form of motorcycle which basically can only be used for two passangers, but they use their motorcycle to pick up extreme heavy weight as if it is a pick up truck. Pick Up Motors is like a satire of Television Commercial promoting the benefit of the exploited motorcycle uses. Pick Up Motorz captures everything that can be lifted on motorcycle, from plant to a lot of boxes.

Another Colour TV is a documentary film that shows a family interaction that occured in front of their television, and how television becomes a major way to escape from the reality they are facing. This film captures a real situation of economics and cultural condition in suburban family of Indonesia whose the mother becomes the center of opinion among the family but ironically left alone with the television as her one and only friend in the house. This situation makes the mother sets values to her family  according to what she sees in the television. However, the other family members that have a lot of different source of values from outside, always reject her values.
